Women in Medieval times had very different expectations and lives than we do today. In Medieval times women had to obey their father, older brothers, and any other male members of the family. Women were a variety of subjects like archery, dancing, riding, housewifely duties, and sometimes another language ,but the most important were manners and ediquettes. They also had to marry ,but with no say on whom they did. Usually, it was expected that she would be pregnant 4-8 times and lose at least one child. Today, women are not forced to obey the male members of the family and don't focus on learning proper manners. They also have a say in whom they marry and usually are pregnant 1-5 times without the expectants of losing a child.
