Abstract

I believe diabetes is a large problem that is circling the globe. The four topics I chose are how food affects your blood sugar, ways to inject insulin, whether or not diabetes is genetic, and how diabetes affects your body. Food affects your blood sugar by making it higher pr lower. If you eat sugary food, your blood sugar will mostly become higher and if you eat healthier foods, your blood sugar most likely will become lower. There have been advancements recently in the way you inject insulin. You are more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes if you are genetically related to a person with diabetes. There are many physically straining side affects to having too high or too low blood sugar.
