The benefits that it offered

The GI Bill gave servicemen and women options such as:

- Letting chose if they wanna go back to college or vocational school being tuition free up too $500 while also receiving a cost of stipend.

- Giving them $20 a week for a year if they were unemployed and looking for work.

- They also Guaranteed loans from the government for any vets wanting to buy a house, business, or a farm. This shaped America because a lot of people were moving from the city to live in the suburbs.

- Medical care for vets was provided in GI Bill. Hospitals were built for vets also.
