Research Trompenaars

Trompenaars starts from two axes, egalitarian versus hierarchical and person versus task oriented cultures. Please note that these two axes are not the same as the ones used by Harrison, Quinn and Rohrbach, reinforcing the idea that the identification and selection of axes need further attention; even whether this is an appropriate method.


If you accept these two axes, Trompenaars’ organisational culture theory is quite complete in showing consequences. While De Caluwé uses culture for change management (means to an end), Trompenaars shows the consequences of culture as such.
