In this document I dealt with organisational culture as part of the People-branch of the mind-map at www.culturalcompetence.eu (depicted on the left. Not all topics of this branch of the mind-map were discussed, quotes by students were not mentioned and the exercise was limited.

If you want to start working on defining and possibly changing organisational culture, please be aware that instruments like questionnaires, games, structured approaches, models and the like have only value as a first step. Most work rests in detailed discussions with people from all levels and branches in the organisation and their involvement in other ways of doing things. Easy solutions or approaches do not exist and some employees will find it hard if not impossible to fit in the new framework. This is not to say that you should not do it, only to be aware.
