Trojan War
Artemis sided with the Trojans due to her mother and brother being widely worshipped there.
Agamemnon angered Artemis by supposedly killing one of her sacred animals, causing her to set off a wind that prevented him from sailing to Troy. Agamemnon is then told by Calchas that in order for the wind to stop, he must sacrifice his daughter Iphigenia, but he refused to do so. In the end Artemis saved Iphigenia by replacing her with one of her sacred deer.
