Jewel(round):encircles the base of the neck. Is plain and rounded

Boat: goes straight across from shoulder to shoulder. High at the front and back and wide on the sides

Cowl: draped with flowing folds

Square:neckline is shaped like a square

"V": neckline is shaped like a V

Sweetheart: have curved bottom edge that is concave down and usually doubly scalloped to resemble the top half of a heart
