In 1918, Miró had his first solo exhibit, located at The Dalmau Galleries in Barcelona.

Prior to his trip to Paris, Mirós artwork was mostly traditional; doing landscapes, structural drawings and clean, non-obscture lines. once he realized the different type of artwork out there, his whole style to chanegd to what we know and recognize today.
