The Growth of Towns

During this time towns in Texas begun to grow and develop. Towns such as Houston, Galveston, and San Antonio were some of the towns in Texas. Some population numbers reached as high as 8,000 people and more. Most towns also got additions such as general stores, blacksmith shops, offices, and trade shops.
