Louisiana Constitution

The Louisiana Constitution was new and had been approved by the country so Texas based it off of them.

They also agreed with many of their opinions such as allowing women to own land, and you must have lived at least three years in the U.S. to run for governor.

They took it from here because they agreed with many of the new policies since it was a newly written constitution.
