Monte Cristo Homestead

*The original occupants of the Monte Cristo Homestead in Austrailia were William Crawley and his family in 1884



*After these two owners had died from heart failure, they were said to haunt the house. Many people say to have actually seen these ghosts.



*After many years, different owners of the Homestead described the terrible things they saw in Monte Cristo. Mysterious lights said to haunt the house while people came into the drive way spooked people, but after going inside, the light mysteriously disappeared. Another source explained how after trying to go up the stairs, a mysterious unseen force seemed hold them back from going up, this feelings usually occurred to 4 and 5 year olds. Olive, the owner of Monte Cristo Homestead said to have walked in to the kitchen to find dead and mutilated kittens.
