Days and Reflection
Day 1 Plan: Today I plan on observing Rachel's bath and helping to changer her.
Result: I observed and found she usually stays relatively calm when it comes to bathing. I didn't get the chance to help but I learnt lots.
Day 2 Plan: For day two I will be changing Rachel and participating in bathing her.
Result: I did change Rachel but she did fuss a little while I was trying to do so. I was in charge of grabbing things for the bath, like her tub, and wash cloths etc.
Day 3 Plan: On this day I will be taking responsibility of watching her while she is 'playing.'
Result: she stayed in her swing for most of time she was 'playing.' She was calm until she was hungry and needed to eat. After that she stayed with my mom.
Day 4 Plan: Today is another Bath day, and I will be helping quite a bit more than what I have been in the past.
Result: I again was running to get stuff until I got the opportunity to go help with washing and drying her.
Day 5 Plan: Today is baby shower day and I will be in charge of making sure she stays calm and content around other people.
Result: On baby shower day she was rarely ever around me, she was almost always with someone else.
Day 6 Plan: Day 6 is a relaxing day, I will be following the usual routine when caring for Rachel.
Result: Today was a good day, although she didn't sleep much during the night she was relatively content during the day.
Reflection: I though the entire process went relatively well. If I could have, I would've done more work while she was bathing. I know I reached my goal because now there are more specific safety rules and I know what I'm doing when I'm around Rachel.
