Direct sunlight:
- Heat is much more intense and concentrated when receiving direct sunlight, and the sun is hitting the area of the earth at a 90° angle.
- When the Northern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun, we have our summer since we receive the direct sunlight

Indirect Sunlight:
- Heat and energy is much less intense
- Less concentrated in one area, and spread out or distributed equally between the latitudes.
- When the Northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, we have our winter since we receive indirect sunlight.
