Land Pollution

Land pollution is defined as chemicals or waste on the ground or in the soil of the ground. Land pollution is probably the most commonly know because of landfills. Landfills are where the world disposes trash. Landfills are not really a problem until the chemicals from the trash are not completely protected and leak into the soil, sometimes getting in the ground water. Also, it take a very long time for the trash in landfills to decompose and nothing can be built on top.
