The song Love Like Crazy by Lee Bryce represents the American dream and how working hard can lead to successes in your life and relationships. In the song it explains how two people get married at a young age and how no one thought they were going to make it. The husband winds up selling home computers and they get rich, at the end of the song they said they have been married for fifty eight years. This shows the two people in the song did not give up and worked hard to be successful and they did it, everyone was agents them but they did not listen and were dedicated to each other. This is similar to Gatsby because Gatsby finally got to meet Daisy after five years of waiting. In the song there is also a line that says "go to work, do your best Don't outsmart your common sense". This shows they did what they could and they never acted like they were better than they were they just worked hard and never gave up. This reminds me of Gatsby because he never gave up on his dream to be rich and ended up becoming rich and successful. Hard work and dedication is a very important trait to have and most of the time it will pay off if you take it seriously and are not lazy.
