High class women did not learn the typical roles of a house wife because they hired domestic servants to do their work for them since they had enough money to pay the servants.

Affairs had by high class men were accepted but if it was a high class woman or any woman, it was seen as adultery and most likely they could be executed or even worse; alone, pregnant and unwanted by anyone.
