Cherry Crush

Cherry Crush is the first book in the chocolate box series by Cathy Cassidy. It was published on the 2nd of September 2010, it is followed by Marshmallow Skye.
The story revolves around Cherry Costelo who has an overwhelming desire to fit in with her new family, she also has a bad habit of making up stories that somehow always get her into trouble.
I thought this was a fairly good book, it is not the type of thing I'd usually read so I found it quite difficult to read. Overall I thought it was a good book some parts could be fairly boring but otherwise I can find no faults.
I would recommend this book to fans of Cathy Cassidy and Jacqueline Wilson. I think it suits girls from about 8-13.
