5. Crassula Ovata (Jade Plant)

The jade plant has leaves that are parallel veined and thicker than normal leaves. They grow in opposing pairs along the branches of the plant. It originates from South Africa, and are commonly used as house plants worldwide.

The photomicrograph shown below shows the leaf epidermis and the open stoma. The leaf's vein is not present in this picture.
