Orange Daylily
Hemerocallis fulva

The orange (common) daylily is found in the eastern to midwest United States, and is a introduced plant species. It has 6 petals, has an orange-yellow color, and usually has stripes. They are found in clusters, and have thick roots and stems. Daylily buds and flowers are edible, and have a sweet-spicy flavor.
