Weimar Republic: Rise and Fall
In 1919, Germany severely suffered from the effects from World War I. They were in desperate need of a leader, or a body of leaders, that could restore order and increase the standard of living for the German people. As a result of the Treaty of Versailles, a democratic government was set into place within Germany. This democratic government is known as the, Weimar Republic.
