German Aggression
Despite Germany’s aggressive actions, the League of Nations did not reprimand Germany or their leaders. As a result, the leaders of Germany viewed these democratic powers (leaders) as weak and continued to take action to reach the goals of Germany. Germany continued to expand in order achieve, Lebensraum, or “living space”.
Hitler believed that his master race needed more living space and attempted to reclaim lands with people that previously identified themselves as part of the 19th century empire of Prussia. Hitler believed that he was conquering inferior races and allowed members of his master race or those who were loyal to Germany remain. He also believed that acquiring such land and people would benefit Germany economically due to the rich resources and raw materials.
