Luther wrote the Ninety-Five Theses, on a printing press, which led him to write these. The Ninety-five theses criticized or judged the practices, and ways of the church. HE angered many German Bishops, and Pope Leo X. When Pope Leo X heard of this he excommunicated him. After excommunicated, he was considered an outlaw by the emperor and kicked out. One of the nobles hide him in a castle out of worms, for he supported what Luther was saying. Luther's ideas, led to a "split" in the Roman Catholic Church
