Indus River Valley
- In about 2600B.C. the earliest Asian civilization emerged into Indus River Valley.
-The Indus River valley flourished for about 700 years.
-Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa were considered the twin capitals.
-Mohenjo-Daro was laid out in an organized pattern. There were long, wide main streets and large rectangular blocks. Most of the houses were made out of baked clay bricks.
-In Harappa mud and unbaked bricks were commonly used to build things.
-Indus River valley houses had complex plumbing system.
-Trade was very important to these to cities and there were many accomplishments that the Aryans made
-The Indian subcontinent is a wedge shape that extends into the Indian Ocean and is surrounded in the north and northwest by mountains.
