The Chambers

There are four chambers in the heart:

- The right atrium, which receives deoxygenated
blood and pumps it into the right ventricle.
- The left atrium, which pumps the deoxygenated
blood into the lungs.
- The left atrium, which receives the
oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it
into the left ventricle.
- The left ventricle, which pumps oxygenated blood to the
body.
