Amelia is reading through a recipe to make pasta sauce. She keeps seeing 1/2 cup in the recipe. She counts up all the measurements and she sees the following:

1/2, 1,5, 1/2,1/2, 5, 1/2, 1/4,1,2, 5

The mode is the value that occurs most frequently in a given set of data. You will see the mode more than once in a set of numbers.
