RESTRAINING FORCES

Gaznian rulers and Israeli rulers have tried very hard to make a ceasefire, so the rulers created a Dabat al-Midan (restraining force) to prevent rocket launches and violence between the two groups. Dabat al-Midan has been pretty effective; it lowered the number of rocket launches from almost 900 the year before to 370 launches the next year. Surprisingly enough, journalist Avi Issacharof has the opinion that Hamas has become sort of a security force because “Individuals suspected of belonging to jihadist terror organizations, or firing at Israel, are arrested by Hamas and released a short time later." Considering that the fighting has died down along with rocket fire, each side of the conflict is trying for a ceasefire, and that a former agresser is stopping violence, the USA should stay out of the conflict.
