11) Swedish ( Gustavian ) - By Erika Zimmer

Why Swedish?
This roomies clearly all white with intricate designs on the furniture and walls. It looks elegant and clean, bringing a regal feel to it all. The pieces of furniture are also older and more classical looking, such as the clocks.

Additional Information:
-This style was created by the fusion of Swedish tastes and styles imported by King Gustav III when he reigned in 1775-1792.
-The furniture used in this type of design is simple in execution but it maintains a humble yet royal character.
-It looks light, airy, and elegant. It usually features white painted, neo-classical furnishings set against a light interior background.
