14) Tropical - By Erika Zimmer

Why Tropical?
Tropical design should make you feel like you are vacationing in the islands, which is what this room does. There is a picture of palm trees covering the back wall, a straw canopy over the bath, and and artificial palm tree in the right corner. The bed and chairs are made of natural looking wood and the bedspread matches the tropical theme.

Additional Information:
-Tropical style is meant to infuse the room with a feeling of paradise and of the islands. These rooms should make you feel at ease and "chill" like island living.
-The furniture used in these rooms can usually weather both outdoor and indoor elements.Rattan, jute , wicker, and bamboo are common materials used in the furniture.
-Big leafed plants are also utilized in Tropical style rooms, as well as many prints of tropical island motifs on fabrics such as blankets.
