The Tenochtitlan

The Tenochtitlan city was built. However they had many geographical challenges due to them being on an island. The location made it hard to trade and farm. To make it easier to travel, they built causeways that connected the island to the shore. The causeways were made of water or wet ground. The water around the Tenochtitilan was undrinkable so they made a stone aqueduct to channel fresh water to the city.
