Indus Civilization rises and declines:
The Indus Civilization had well-planned cities which revealed an organized government. Indus people made a living by farming and trading. Religious beliefs started to develop. Many people believe the people were polytheistic (the belief in more than one god).

Located in the region known as South Asia, or the Indian subcontinent

The coastal Plains
The Gangetic Plain
Mohenjo- Daro and Harappa are 2 cities in the Indus Civilization.
By 1900 the Indus Civilization declined and the use of writing halted.
