The muscular system of a clam is not very complex. The majority of this system is contained in the clams foot. The foot is used for movement across the ocean floor. In the diagram below you can see that there are also two other muscle tissues that also help with movement and the intake of food.

The muscular system of a frog is much different than that of a clam. It is much more complex and plays a much a greater role in the frogs everyday function. The muscles help the frogs skeletal structure to move. This system

takes up a majority of the internal structure of the frog. The frog relies on its muscles to move, eat, and complete its everyday functions.
