King Henry VIII
King Henry was a major figure in England. Because he had no sons, he asked the pope for a divorce but the pope refused. He said that it was against the religion. As a result King Henry made a new church called the Church of England. This brought about some ideas from the Catholic Church and Protestant beliefs.
