One of the newest alternative fuels is electricity. Electric cars are built with energy cells that need to be charged. To charge these cells, you simply plug your car into a charging station. Electric cars are very environmentally friendly, for they do not produce the same polluting emissions

The other type of alternative fuel is ethanol. Ethanol has been around for a while now ands it's basically just a cleaner form of gas. Ethanol is alcohol based and is made by fermenting and distilling crops like corn, wheat and barley. Ethanol can be blended with gasoline to significantly improve pollution from emissions.
