Jobs like doctors and lawyers, and having places in the government, were known as jobs for men and men only. Women not being allowed in the government meant they didn’t have a voice, which also meant that they didn’t have a say in anything that was happening with voting. This was not fair to women because these rules and conditions affected the women as well.
