capital punishment is related to the chapter "respect for life" because in the chapter it says about the fifth commandment and how This commandment teaches respect for human life and condemns as gravely sinful any direct, intentional killing, capital punishment is intentionally killing, even if the person has committed a serious crime it is now our job to judge or decide if they should be put to death
