The two types of Inverse Properties are the Inverse Property of Addition and the Inverse Property of Subtraction.
Inverse Property
Official Book Definition: In terms of addition, the sum of any number and its opposite is 0. In terms of multiplication, for any number except 0, the product of the number and it's reciprocal is 1.

Personal Definitions:
Ayra's Definition: In addition, it is any time you add a positive and negative number with the same absolute value, you get 0. In multiplication, it is any number multiplied by 1 divided by the original number is 1.
Carleigh's Definition: The inverse property is when you add or multiply the opposite or reciprocal of the number and the answer is 0 for addition or 1 for multiplication.
How to Remember:
In addition, you can think of one definition of inverse, opposite. Since you are thinking opposite, you get the idea of adding a number and it's opposite will equal zero. In multiplication, remember the other definition of inverse is to switch around. When multiplying a number and it's reciprocal you are just multiplying the two numbers which are flipped versions of each other so just think flip instead of inverse to get the idea.
