Associative Property
The two types of the Associative Property are the Associative Property of Multiplication and the Associative Property of Addition.
Official Book Definition: The Associative Property of Addition is when only adding, you can group any of the numbers together. The Associative Property of Multiplication is when only multiplying, you can group any of the numbers together.
Example

Personal Definitions:
Ayra's: It is when you can do any part of a problem first if it is the same operation.
Carleigh's: When you add or multiply, you can group any of the numbers together and still get the same numbers.
How to Remember: You can remember by thinking associate in the word associative. Associate means to group and usually an association is only focused on one main subject. Remembering one subject leads to one operation and associate is to group causing you to think grouping parts of a number in one operation.
