From 1966 to 1970, the Beatles produced some of their best works of music. Albums such as Yesterday and Today, Sgnt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Band, Revolver, The Magic Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let It Be were released and would be considered some of the best music of all time. Although the group was creating great music, they weren't functioning right. The four went their separate ways, all focusing on their solo careers. John Lennon was murdered in New York City in 1980 and George Harrison died of cancer in 2001. The Beatles will never play together again, but their impact on the music and film industry is unlike any other group.
