Chemical digestion starts in the mouth. Your teeth start to bring and break the food up, while the food in being broken up saliva combines with the small pieces of food and moistens it. Chemical digestion is successfully completed by enzymes. Enzymes is a type of protein that rushes chemical digestion. Saliva consist of enzymes that make digesting starch easier.
This is where chemical digestion begins. Starts in mouth, food is getting broken up. Next it goes to the throat where saliva is combining with the bits of food. Then the food is being easily pushed down the Esophagus.
