A little bit about me (the author)

Hello, if you don't know me already, I'm Lottie. I am a fourteen year old girl on the Autistic spectrum. I am currently one of five children, as shown in the pictures. My parents are divorced, but they have found new partners and are happy. I came to the conclusion that not enough people know about autism. I know a lot of people have already come to this conclusion but this conclusion for me is based around the fact that most teachers in mainstream schools (like my school) are not fully aware of what they are dealing with when it comes to children on the spectrum, so I have put together this presentation to try and explain it to anyone who is not aware of this.
If you already know me and are not aware already, I'm not going to deny it, I have autism. I was diagnosed when I was six and some of my behaviour is maybe a side you've never seen.

My half brother Kayden and half sister Elsie.

Me, my older brother Bailey and my older sister Tiffany.

The real meaning of Autism.

By Lottie Barker

Hi, I have made this presentation after coming to the conclusion that not enough people know about autism. I also made this to help my teachers to understand me better and also understand my behaviour better. Although this is not overly descripted, there are websites at the end that you can visit. Please feel free to share, and help raise awareness of the real meaning of autism. Thank you:)
