Asperger's syndrome sounds like an awful thing, but really you can still live a normal life with Asperger's syndrome, I mean, I'm living a normal life, it just has some challenges along the way. I recently got honoured for overcoming hurdles with Autism and for helping out as a leader at a club for children (see picture to the bottom left). Although I got this award, Stress still plays a big part in my case of autism, And this showed when I did early entry exams.

What is Asperger's syndrome?

Now, you may think how can she do early exams, she's on the spectrum? But although there are people with Asperger's syndrome all over the world, unless you were told, you wouldn't really know about it, because most high functioning autism children are in mainstream education (like I am) and have average if not above average intelligence. Besides, we only think and sometimes behave differently, so you don't really notice.

The real meaning of Autism.

By Lottie Barker

Hi, I have made this presentation after coming to the conclusion that not enough people know about autism. I also made this to help my teachers to understand me better and also understand my behaviour better. Although this is not overly descripted, there are websites at the end that you can visit. Please feel free to share, and help raise awareness of the real meaning of autism. Thank you:)
