Guidelines for the wise consumer

Do you need it?

If you are already own a similar product and it is in functioning order or good condition there is no need to purchase the product on sale.

Can you afford it?

You have to consider the financial effects that may come out of purchasing the product. Remember your household budget! Will paying for this product mean that you won't be able to afford a different product?

Is it value for money?

Make sure that the product is not a false economy! Just because the product might be sold in larger quantities, doesn't necessarily mean that your getting more for your money!

Make sure you compare prices and products to ensure your getting value for money

Proof of purchase

Make sure you keep all of your receipts incase you might need return or exchange the product in the future.
