2nd Great Awakening

The Second Great Awakening was a religious movement that took place between 1790 and 1840 in the United States. The goal of the movement improve society by improving each and every person. In the movement was Revivalism. Revivalism included revivals which were emotional meetings that brought faith back into people's lives. The Revivals were held by preachers and priests who would speak among crowds of upwards twenty- thousand.
