CHANGES IN TEXAS

In February of 1846, President Anson Jones gave his farewell address and Texas celebrated its new statehood in the US. many thought of it as homecoming. They were all familiar with the customs and everything else but Texas was still a frontier state, the frontier line was over 700 miles. Living on the frontier was always a challenge and very dangerous. However, Texas experienced many changes through out the years.
