Powers of the president
The president is the commander in chief of the military. He or she can make treaties(with congresses consent).
The president can fill up any vacancies that happen in congress

The presidency
The president and Vice President are the legislative branch. Their term last 2 years. The congress decides on when the Election Day is. You have to be a natural born citizen of the us to be president. You be at least 35 years of age to be president.
You have to have lived in the us for 14 years to Be president.
If the president cannot be president the Vice President will be president. The president has to take the oath of office before being the president.
