The campus crime stoppers help stop crimes and make the school district a safer place. This program along with other things have succeeded to an extent and have increased awareness of crime. Ever since the crime stoppers program has been created, crime rates have lowered slightly since the mid 2000s. In the mid 2000s, crime rates were higher than those of today.

Neighborhood watch groups

Some Coppell Neighborhoods have organized neighborhood watch groups in order to help stop crimes in their neighborhoods and areas close to their neighborhood. These simple groups have had an impact on some people attempting crimes and has led to safer areas.
