Maurice Wilkins worked with Rosalind Franklin and Raymond Gosling to produce images of DNA in 1951. He studied DNA and viruses with microscopes and spectrophotometers. He contributed to Rosalind Franklins discovery of the structure of the DNA by working with the X-ray that produced the picture. He also won a Nobel Prize.
