Synopsis

This book is about the struggles that Jackie Robinson went through and it shows what segregation was like during that time. In most books about Jackie Robinson, it shows the view from Jackie Robinson. In this book, the view is from all of the people that were major in Jackie's life, mostly the people that helped him get through it. The book also gives you a view of Jackie Robinson through a white person back in that time period. If your read this book you will see how awful it was for Jackie Robinson to play in the Major Leagues with every one hating him. Jackie Robinson did not listen to all the insults that he got and now is one of the most respected player in all of baseball.
