Waves - When waves wash up onto the sand and wash back down again, they rub against rocks. Overtime, these rocks break down and turn into pebbles called sand. The sand is dragged back down into the water when the waves wash back in. This form of erosion carries sand and rock fragments different places
Glaciers - As glaciers move gradually across the land they pick up loose materials and rocks. These rocks grind mountain walls and valleys, since they are wedged in between the glacier and ground. This form of erosion moves rocks and material to different places. This process takes lots of time
