Transcription and translation are two phases of protein synthesis.
mRNA: is the messanger that travels from the transcribed DNA, to the Ribosomes, where the Proteins are assembled.
tRNA: carries the correct amino acid to the mRNA on the ribosome during protein synthesis (translation).
rRNA: Forms part of the ribosomes and is moved to the cytoplasm to help translate the information in mRNA into proteins
An anticodon is a series of 3 bases on tRNA and it is complementary to a codon which is a series of 3 bases on mRNA. A codon is complementary to a DNA triplet.
